Atlas, Lake Walk Town Center Unveil The Lookout

Observation Tower Next to The Stella Hotel Offers Scenic Views of A&M Landmarks, Brazos Valley

(BRYAN, Texas) – ATLAS – the premier corporate campus in the Brazos Valley – and Lake Walk, the new town center featuring lifestyle and outdoor pursuits, introduce The Lookout, the development’s observation tower situated next to The Stella Hotel.

Designed by Nelsen Partners – who also created Lake Walk’s pavilion and first retail building – The Lookout stands 75 feet tall and features an observation deck and three viewpoints. Made of galvanized and stainless steel, the tower will light up for special occasions and holidays, and provide dramatic views of the Brazos Valley, Easterwood Airport, downtown Bryan and surrounding Texas A&M University landmarks.

Bryan residents Alyssa Barigan and Ardi Kiani named the tower as part of a contest Lake Walk hosted in partnership with local CBS affiliate KBTX-TV. For the winning submission, they won a Lake Walk Town Center Package, which includes a one-night stay at The Stella Hotel, breakfast at Campfire Restaurant and two tickets to a Brazos Valley Bombers baseball game.

“The tower naming contest gave us an opportunity to connect with the community and let them name a significant feature of our development,” says Spencer Clements, Principal, ATLAS and Traditions Development. “The Lookout symbolizes the area’s pioneering spirit and serves as a reminder of our mission to empower and inspire.”

Surrounding The Lookout is a boardwalk along with a new festival site hosting food trucks and the new weekly Wednesday Farmers Market. Complementing the amenities of Lake Walk, The Lookout is an ideal spot to enjoy during the town center’s Summer Nights Concert Series, starting June 9.
